Parents and coaches both play an important role in an athlete’s development.
Athletes benefit when parents and coaches work together, and athletes pay when they don’t.
Teaching parents how to support coaches and teams goes a long way in building strong teams.
Conflict between parents and coaches are seen and felt by athletes. It is unhealthy and disruptive to the athlete. Turning that conflict into support builds strong teams and better athletes who know how to be leaders and teammates.
Parents and coaches both want the same thing for athletes so connecting and aligning them can make a major difference in a program. Informing them and aligning them behind program goals can go a long way in turning conflict into support between parents and coaches.
The program is structured around 3 modules:
- Supporting Athletes
- Supporting Coaches
- Supporting Teams
Modules consist of:
- Short Instructional Videos
- Parent Instructional Booklet
- Parents Access to Digital Platform
- Slides for a coach/facilitator led in-person discussion
